If you were wondering what gun would make it to the top for the best paintball gun of the year 2013 you’ve come to the right place. Rumors has it the Dye DM13 Paintball gun, beside being one of the most popular guns out there, it also been estimated that, it’s currently the most advanced paintball gun to have ever been built. This master piece is considered to be really quite, smooth and as accurate as a paintball gun can get.

This is the type of gun that you can be sure will stand by your side and will never let you down. The DM13, priced at around $1300 retail is considered the most reliable, well established, longest-running marker in Dye’s history if not the paintball history. So if you were dreaming of having the best of the best paintball gun, all in one, your dream might have just come true!

Eh... not really. The DM13 is not what I would call the most advanced paintball gun to ever have been built. More like the same gun built by Dye for the last few years. I'm not even going to get into the accuracy claims, but suffice it to say the gun isn't a factor in the accuracy of the trajectory beyond ridiculous inconsistency or terrible barrels.

As for "best" paintball gun? That's 100% preference.

There is no such thing as "best paintball gun" because objects such as guns or markers are supposed to be set up for user preference, meaning that one person's "perfect gun" may not fit someone else at all. My advice is to try some out, or find what you want or need in a marker and find what fills those needs in the budget you have set.

Well, If anything, One good way I've found to make an educated guess on what marker would be a good one to give a try is to listen to the pros and that at least has helped me a lot. However I do agree that everyone has their own preference. What works for you might not work for someone else. And that really is for you to determine based on your perception of that article and the video together :)

Most pros are either affiliated with or sponsored by the gun companies, so pros are probably not the best source for unbiased testimonial.

Fair enough Andrew. I am sure you have experience and you know this in detail based on your experience

Hey Folks, for a while I was wondering what would be the best paintball gun out there that I could possibly purchase. Until few days ago I found it. The Dye DM13. Even though the gun was a little bit out of my budget range, it still was interesting to read this article and watch the video about the best paintball gun EVER. Check it out http://blog.paintbal...all-gun-of-2013

TBH that article was just buzz words and was completely uninformative.

The title is misleading.

I have removed the post since it does not seem to be productive and it really isn't bringing any value to this forum so why bother having it there. thank you.

Your first post being quoted by the first person to comment defeats the whole purpose of editing/deleting. Buck up and stick to what you feel is important to you instead of coming off as having a pity party.

Everyone has their own opinion as to what is the best paintball gun ever because there is just way too many variables to define what makes one paintball gun the best ever. Its kind of like if I were to say Mountain Dew is the best soda ever, someone is surely going to say another type is better. Apples and oranges.

It was more of an advertisement that linked to his blog/website that sells paintball guns than an actual opinion on the best gun.

I see, that definately changes the perspective some for this thread. I'm at work and avoid clicking on links in the forums since it is either going to be blocked or I'll have a visit the next day I come in. I'm still calling him out on the pity party though. If your going to come post on a forum, you need to have some tougher skin.
