What the fuck happen to the guns in 2013?! They all look like shit!

Are all the artists and machinists to busy on instagram now, so they just hire a bunch of stupid ass hipsters that know photoshop to make markers?!

So far all these "Hype" guns are looking like shit... it really looks like they are trying to make 2013 the ugliest year in paintball since 1979..

All this hype, for over a year!!! for what? something that looks like it just got remachined from an old Spyder marker?!

Dye, please don't be the nail in the coffin. seems like the only markers worth to even stomach right now are ones we have already seen before though. :(

I see this rant like I see chubby girls. Sometimes you need to look past the fickle exterior issues, and realize that under it all, it's just as fun in the covers.

/\ good analogy.

It started great with the geo 3. Then bob made the v-com. Then kee just unbuckled there pants and took a huge dump. Then pe decides to 1-up them and decides to take a bigger dump with corn in it and call it the lv1.

I actually don't think the Impulse looks too bad, its not nice just plain. The other two, well at-least they're funny.

I like the vanquish. Its very unique looking so itll be recognizable and hopefully a design we'd grow to like.
The Impulse is sexy, especially for a JT marker. Very much of a sleeker look.

It's the end of the world!
Two new markers come out and they look ugly! Paintball in 2013 is going to stupid!

Oh well. Get over it

I'm really liking the Empire Res. Autococker. It'll probably be my first gun to buy new in a very long time.
The rest are well out of my price range, so I don't really care about them.

So by those standards you would drive a Geo Metro if it was known as a performance car... Ascetics are a huge aspect especially when spending more then a thousand dollars on a marker! If you can make it perform well you could at least mill it so it doesnt look like a huge piece of shit... Very disappointed also I was really hoping the Impulse would be a mid range marker but there were pretty much no mid range markers released unless you count the pumpless sniper...

^Yeah I really was planning on a few high-ends but more mid-end area; but I really think where the money is made is Mid-end. That's where you actually get players stepping up from a Tippmann,, Rails, and possibly older High-ends looking for something a little more updated but don't want to spend a fortune.

But 2013 is not starting out to be very friendly to us broke players. :(

Yup budget ballers rejoice because at least 2012 markers will go down in price...

I have an Ego 8 and it still feels to me when I'm gripping it that I'm holding the shop hammer drill with the front rubber grip missing (which it is) and all that's left to hold is the metal tube hangin down in front. Thank you Jack for designing a paintball marker that to me finally is made to be held by human hands and not some barrel through gun rest to show it off in the Planet Eclipse show tent. Round broom stick regs to me don't say for-hand comfort and marker control. Worn rubber is a fuck of a lot cheaper and easier to replace than scratched up anno. I hope more people bitch about its looks so in some strange way their price will drop or something and I can snag one easier. And for that air transfer tube, i wish my Ego 8 had that set up.
