Oh God I found schematics on how to mill out an e-bolt ram.

Wanna share with the rest of the class?

Only because you asked Andrew.
In no way, shape, or form are these drawings mine.
I merely only saved them from PBN in the case that they would be deleted from ImageShack and I would have no schematics. Then I would be at square 0 again. I believe they are from "NaturalNewbie" originally.

^ Thread I pulled it from.

^Thread showing installation and directions to give the machinist.

So apparently if I bring these drawings to the machine shop, tell them that the rod needs to move smoothly in the ram and will create an airtight seal with an o-ring, I'm good to go.

Again, I claim no ownership of these photos. They are merely archived in my private library in cases of deletion from the original thread.

Reading further into the building thread, it seems as though the ram is somewhat difficult to make.
I would gladly do a middleman thing with a mod or someone to where they make the ram for me and I pay. But that's not gonna happen.

Hopefully I can get myself together and get some money for this project soon.

This is what I have to work with.
All internals not needed were taken out and set aside, and the previous owner even polished the internals.

I updated the OP with my 3rd draft of pricing.

So far I've gotten nowhere on this build.
I plan to put a UL or similar OLED frame on the Tippmann.

The frame will be mounted 1-2 inches away from the rear of the Tippmann, making the frame and reg a little close to each other.

E-bolt, if not mentioned before, will be 2way with QEV.

After project completion I plan to mill any access metal away without challenging the structural integrity of the Tippmann. Unfortunately Tippmann markers cannot be annodized.

Spray paint for the win. Check out a hobby lobby or other craft stores for some metal flake spray paint, in the sun it will darn near blind you. Or Chrome.

They're die-cast, not aluminium.

Die cast is a method, not a type of metal. Tippmanns are most likely an aluminum alloy.

But why wouldn't an alloy be able to be anodized ? Does it have to do with the anodizing process?
