Boston Legion? Who are they? 1st place standings?

I saw it in a paintball world mag (didn't know the date), I thought the new england hurricanes were the only boston paintball sport. Then I saw that it said 2008 standings. Boston Legion in 1st place and Ironmen in 3rd place. I forgot who was in 2nd. And Dynasty in 5th.

Now I am not sure if this is NPPL or some other pro circuit or what have you but the only Legion I heard of is the Russan Legion. Can someone fill me in on this?

lol they change there name every year. but they will always be Russian legion to me.
they will always be my favorite team.

I read somewhere they changed their name to boston because Americans aren't to fond of russians so they wanted to avoid the bad name.

They had to change their name because rules state that there has to be a certain location/state/area within the US in first part of their name. Can't really pinpoint where I read it, but I'm sure you'll find it somewhere.

You are very correct sir. They are russian legion for ever! But they have to use that boston red legion name bc it has to be a location in the U.S.

lol, I heard they owned Ironmen in some xball event not to long ago.

So is it wen they are in the states they call them selfs boston Legion? OR is it on certain tourneys?

what happened was they were required to have a us state represent their team, so they chose boston, but their team is actully the moscow russian legion
