I have fittings and hose still for micro line but haven't seen it's use in along time. Just wondering if it was considered unsafe by today's standards and fell to the wayside or there were some blown hose problems that led to just macro line staying in use? A friend is giving me his 68 Automag Classic since I'm the only one that still plays after all these years and I had the thought of using the micro line of the same age in the make it mine project. Other than the purists say'n only hard lines or steel braid should be on a Mag, anyone think I'd run into a problem with micro line?

I know I'm gonna use it anyway if I need it. Besides, if it bursts, it's not the end of the world or even the end of the gun for that matter.

Just figured I would ask on here in case there was a problem that I had never heard of some time ago or something and these thinner lines turned out to be highly dangerous or whatever. There was a time when I was out of paintball so to speak between Mags and Autocockers being ultimate top dog guns and then getn back into it well after the high end electro's are the only way to go in most minds. Didn't want to go to a local field to play and everyone stares at my equipment nervously like they all know something and I don't.

Another thing, if there's no weakness issue with micro line, then why is it not the choice to use. The fittings are smaller and the line smaller in diameter, and would't that be what to go for in this "shave off every ounce and slim the profile down to the max" paintball world?

Macroline offers more volume than micro per foot, freeing up the air system.

Not say'n you're wrong, but they seem to have the same inside diameter hole through them, or at least not enough difference for me. Oh well, if I need to use the stuff, I,ll use it.

the stuff will rupture if the pressure you put in it isnt low pressure, the stuff works in autocockers because its past the regulator. If youre refering to using it instead of macroline from the asa, youre going to have flow problems and it may rupture

Flow issues, especially for automags which are picky on macroline as it is. Only use microline for siphon projects, really.

Tell yas what, I'll heed the warnings. At this point I don't need to use it and this line is 13 years old. I used it alot on my old original M98, but that was running on CO2.
