Food for thought. House MD is filmed with a 5d mk2, and they use pretty much all the L series lenses..
just saying.

Like I said, its the 'Industry Standard'. the 5D and 7D. Both almost the same, the 7D has a smaller sensor, but is newer with some slightly different features.

answering more to the above post.. I wouldn't get the 5d for paint ball no matter how much money you have, if you want really high end (looks like you dont however since your looking at the rebel line (tx1) etc, but the 5d is more for portrature photography, the 7d is for sports, is can do 8 fps (frames per second) in burst and has dual processors to speed the camera right now, since its a crop camera it also allows you to get a bit closer in the action. Ive been using a 450D with a 17-85mm lens but plan on upgrading to a 7D soon as I can get my 450D sold. (wife has a 7d and Im loving it but cant use it for paintball lol). next year will bee a good zoom lens. but they can be quite expencive to get a good one..

if your looking at the t2i/t3i id say look for a used 50d instead, for paint ball the difference will be worth it in the long run, it has a higher fps so your more likely to catch that perfect shot, and it has a larger buffer so you can shoot not only faster but more. as for lens, the 18-135 isnt bad, but if you do anything but outdoor in bright sunny days you may want a faster lens too (depending how serious you get into this)

If you want to shoot mostly video, I would say go for the T2i , I know professional filmmakers who shoot with it. Once you have that, you will need a separate audio device ( T2i auto gain sucks) I would suggestion the Zoom H1 or H2 is you are on a budget . You can do the audio separately and sync it in post or install Magic Lantern . If you have a bit more cash go for the Rode Videomic pro, it has settings that negate the shitty audio leveling in camera. This would allow you to sync audio in camera , making post a lot simpler. My person opinion is to avoid the 60d just spring for the 7d if you can.
Also Keep this statement in mind if you are going to go the DSLR route DISREGARD BODIES, ACQUIRE LENSES

Back in your day, getting wooden teeth was a necessary surgical procedure, now, it's just a way for hipsters to be ironic. Also, you're dead, if not, you're old as shit. Chop down MY cherry tree, you no good son of a bitch!

no need for the h1, just go straight for a mic, since the t21 does have a microphone jack..
i personally like the idea of the 60d, the swivel screen appeals to me..
