TechPB modcast/podcast resurrecting something fun?

I think we should resurrect something like what Mario A.K.A. Sticktodrum had going, bi-weekly podcast with techpb gents and ladies to talk about current events and or other things happening on the forums/industry.

anyone interested in something like this? it wouldn't necessarily be a Modcast like Mario had thats full of clever one liners and the perfect sarcasm and jokes but it'd be informative and entertaining.

i think it would be fun.

If only I could I would love to see this it was fun listening to that podcast on my way to Florida.

anyone have ideas how we could go about recording it? skype or something?
how would we record both sides of the conversation?
where would we post it?

Some people use Ustream.com and just have the call going there I think it also allows a chat box for people who aren't in the Skype call.

Fraps I think works too. I haven't really looked into it but, somewhere to start?

The best way to record is for each person to have their own recording app running, recording the input of their microphone. The conversation happens over Skype, or similar voice-chat app, and then one person sends their recording to the other for mixing. That's how I do my drumming podcast, and provided everyone involved has a decent microphone (which oddly enough, many people don't), then you get a very nice product.

I don't know if I'd be up for another podcast, and it'd be difficult to set up an official TechPB one at this point. If anyone were to do it, I'd gladly be on it... Heh.

Gerber, Surefire, TOPS, and Cold Steel all suck the big one. Buy quality products, not junk. :-)

I'm trying to do the research on it so if i can get something going that's OK with Mike or Willie i might give it a shot :tup:
