I don't care. What happens in the PSP and NPPL won't effect me as a recball player.

id say no because i like the idea of two different leagues, one for semi auto and the other for 3 shot. However there are tons of advantages to merging

i think that a legue merger would make paintball teams and events easier to gain out of sport sponsors

Honestly, if they did merge, I think it'd be the same as the AFC and NFC merging in football. Sure, there may be benefits, but will it realistically affect the amount of interest people have? Probably not.

I wish there were no set field layouts
No one baseball field is the same and it would
Be nice to see the pros have to make the adjustments
Lol get crazy with the layouts add a castle with a mout and some trees in the middle of the field , lets not forget that this is paintball and its ment to be fun for the players and the fans !

I think it is a good idea there are quite a few advantages, but I do like there being a three shot burst league and a semi-auto league.

a merger and general standard rules and formats in the US (the capital of paintball if you may) would work towards the sport's mainstream recognizion.
with one concrete and unified formal body, with easy to follow and exciting action for the spectators and players alike, non PB companies would invest more in the medium.

and it would all create a domino effect all over the world, where competitive paintball organizations would start applying the format and rules.

all in all, unifing and defining the sport as such, and not just as another product alternative for "tag" hobbiests.

But the field layouts aren't set, they change every event. The event is in the same place sometimes, but the acutal positioning of the bunkers changes every event.
