like an expansion chamber it lets more air to expand. get one.

you can't be sure unless you take it apart and see if one is actually there..that, and volumizers are rarely "embedded" into the body..you see it more with LPR's

AKA volumizers are never embedded. I thought all 04 vikings came stock with the AKA volumizer.

The way I always understood a volumizer is that if you look at your air path the biggest restriction in air is the regulator. It can only let air through as x speed. Well when you have a larger chamber after the regulator, that just gives you that much reserve in case the reg can't keep up. Think of it kind of like a capacitor, when you shoot rapidly and for some rare reason the reg can't keep up for a shot or two you have the extra air already past the reg there waiting for you. I doubt most people notice any improvement as most regs work pretty damn good or at least good enough to keep up with their rate of fire.

It gives you lower hpr pressure, its what angel has been working on for years but the AKA guy did way back. That's why AKA is great.
How bout I answer your question with another question; can you find Chuck Norris?

Dont forget the the entire right tube (looking at the business end) is a volume chamber. Adding that little bit of extra volume will not do a great deal to the marker.
Dirty bird is correct also, WDP (aps) found this out when they went to the A1 platform. Once they had removed the battery from one of the tubes in favor of 9v's it became apparent that the use of the tube as an internal volumizer negated the need for an external one due to the sheer quantity of air already inside the marker.
BUT as far as looks go, it does look much better with a volly when you have an SCM on the other side
