[Budget Balla Kid]

Hello im looking to get a second paintball gun at the moment I have a Gog Enemy. For my first gun it is great.So anyway heres my question I am at 200$, Im lookin to save up but the question is how much? Should i go for a G4(lower is sub 300$) or a gun thats expensive(expensive is over 300). Im only a kid so if I do save for lets say a DM9 It would be about a year runnin with my enemy. If thers a good sub 300 or a expensive one that you like please list in the comments.(I wont be needing gear any time soon)To save I will probably by sellin my AEG CYM 420fps airsoft gun you can pm me if you want more info on that. But please respond to my question I need to make my decision soon. I NEED YOU TO ALSO STATE GUNS PLS

Don't go from entry level to worse value entry level. I would highly suggest waiting and saving up for a used Protege, DM, Vice, Marq, etc. and in the meantime using your money to play and get better.

Also, what mask, tank, and hopper do you have? Upgrade those, in that order, then your other gear (pads, pants) before buying a new marker.

Don't go from entry level to worse value entry level. I would highly suggest waiting and saving up for a used Protege, DM, Vice, Marq, etc. and in the meantime using your money to play and get better.

Also, what mask, tank, and hopper do you have? Upgrade those, in that order, then your other gear (pads, pants) before buying a new marker.

Tank you for all the marker suggestions. For my mask I have sly profits, Tank 68/45,hopper is an invert too, my jersey is a 2011 dye, and my pants are 2013 BT Terra pats

Nice setup! I would suggest getting some knee and elbow pads from Dye or Planet Eclipse before a new marker. They will save you a LOT of pain down the road and let you play your hardest.

The padding on the arms are to dissipate the energy from the paintball and absorb it as well as keeping your elbow pads safe.

If you want a great marker for the price, I would take a look at a shocker NXT. They go for $250 used these days. DM preformance at a reasonable price.


I honestly would stick with the enemy. It will help you work on your skil both in walking the trigger and playing. And it will give you time to save up and see what else is out there. The more you play the more you will be exposed to other markers you will get to try out. Spend the cash on playing now, get to try out different markers, and in a year or so, you get to choose the one you like best (and it will be a lower price).

If you want to slide farther then you need pads so you can feel comfortable to run faster and dive harder.

Elbow pads are a necessity; padded jerseys are a luxury. The padding in elbow pads is much firmer and thicker (yeah, laugh it up than the soft padding in jerseys which is thin as well. The elbow pads will actually protect you from impacts, abrasion, and sharp objects while the jersey padding just helps get bounces.

Also, the padding in paintball pants is nice too but isn't really a substitute for knee pads for the same reasons.

Ok awesome. I will Definatly be looking into getting another set of arm pads.
