World at War-July 1- Paintball Explosion (Chicago)

Paintball Explosion has announced their 2012 Event Schedule and July 1 will be the scenario event "World at War."
And yes your reading it correct:
Paint: $65/case
Pre-Registered Admission as low as $15 (members) or $25 (non members)
Day of Admission: $35
Get Registered at: Paintball Explosion's Website
The entire park will be in play and there will be multiple missions, objectives and simuliations!

Tippmann Techs, Planet Eclipse and Marc Lancia , Ninja, Flurry Industries, and Skeletor will be in attendance along with others.

Entry Fees are as follows:

$15 pre-reg admission for members (must call in or stop by to pay)
$25 pre-reg admission for non-members

Otherwise, it's $35.

Cases are $65 and paid day of.

I'm assuming one day of play? How long? And how many people usually show up? Debating about making the 4-5 hour drive. The field looks like it would be fun.

Yes, one day- 8 hour game. They have only hosted 2 big games in their history. I would guesstimate 300-400 players but that's just a guess. The fields are awesome. They are even better in person.

considering this is a one day event, and i already started the season with living legends, i have a feeling i am going to be the dumb ass leading 99% of the charges i will be in, kinda like living legends until i got heat exhaustion. i feel that the rest of brew city bomb squad that are attending will also be right next to me (except you nick, because im faster, lol)

Nice. Gotta watch that heat exhaustion. Did it to myself at LL3. Luckily PBE is equipt with plenty of air conditioned areas. Any clue who you gentlemen will be playing for?

I played for the horde at legends and it worked out pretty well being on the same side as brew city bomb squad. May have to try it again.

Going to have to get some more info to maybe get a few more southern Iowa guys to in.

Signed up for Axis.

This will be my first big game at PBXbut I play there in open games about twice a month. It is an amazingfield and at least for open play, I prefer it to CPX. It is smallerthan CPX with constant buildings and other cover (like a couple ofdecommissioned helicopters, buses and trucks) so it will beinteresting to see how the big game plays out.
