dangerous power fusion f7 or proto slg? which is better right out of the box no upgrade feed necks or anything

I need to re state this question which is better out of the box and no bias opinions. which is better without upgrade right out of the box.

the fusion had a lpr... but it lacks the board that the slg has.

but with a fusion all you need is a new board vrs the slg you need a new asa and a new feed neck.

i personally don't like the grip frame of the fusion. this is why i recommended the slg but over all the fusion is a better gun.

I don't know if this belongs here or the vs. thread but since we're here anyways why not give an answer as best I can. I like proto just because I hate stacked tube markers and think proto's are easy to take apart. The proto has a better board but as already mentioned its feed neck is almost a mandatory upgrade. As far as the asa on the slg I don't mind it. Not great but functional for a part that really doesn't matter as long as it works. I'd slg wins slightly just because I hate the stacked-tube design the F7 uses.

I would get an SLG. My friend got an F7 and I got an SLG. His F7 broke the first day he used it broken values, leaking, drop off, etc. On my SLG i just got a $20 clamping feedneck and its the best gun I ever had. I highly reccomend the SLG over the F7 and other $300 dollar guns.

But with the new slg09 (or whatever u want to call it) the feed neck is fixed at least. It looks like the pmr's. The asa looks the same.

for a beginner gun i would say go with the SLG just because Proto is very good at making guns that are reliable and are easy to maintain. They also fixed alot of the problems the SLG had when they came out with the 09 SLG.

the 09 slg is 299$ if you going to spend 300 bucks on a marker just buy a mini.

I would strongly recomend the F7. Better barrel, feedneck, trigger, and has an lpr. Also its a poppit.

f7 will hold up better for you. i heard they are reliable and fast. i know they are light. imo f7 over slg anyday.

edit: like paintballermason said poppit good efficiency too.

The fusion is a better gun overall. It has many features that higher end guns use, such as an LPR. It also has a clamping feedneck, good trigger, ect. I have an SLG and I love it, but I still just can't get over the cheap plastic grip and trigger. Not to mention the feedneck, its a piece of s***. The fusion is a more solidly built gun, it is worth much more than it is sold for. It is just cheap because DP is so new, and that they aren't addicted to money yet, which is good.

I would say the f7, but they're coming out with the 09' SLG with the ultralite. Anyway, I'll still go with the f7 because it is a more decent gun for a cheap price

i personally like Poppet valve guns, but dye/proto makes GREAT stuf, most reliable markers ive shot......so i vote for the SLG
