Curious about how the community feels on these.

I say extcy but not because I am a band wagonerr. I actually shot this marker, and although the shot quality is not the best, I loved it more than my Axe at one point.

They're pretty much the same gun, but the Extcy is a plastic brick, and the Rail has a crappier board and ASA. Basically, just pick based on your preference.

Under the hood, they are pretty similar, but the extcy has the better board and asa. The downside is the composite grip frame. It doesn't bother me, but it bothers some a little. I personally like the extcy more, but you can't really choose wrong, they are both some of the better guns new at $250.

They are both great for the price. I got a Proto Rail. It is light, has great ergos and has good shot quality. It is a little inefficient though. You can't go wrong with either. But I love my Rail.

If you don't like the Extcy then don't get it.

the eXTCy is better than the 2011 Rail IMO, but the 2012 and 13 Rail are much better than the 2011. So, for me, its a tossup, whatever floats your boat.

The 2012 and 2013 rails are reflex rails

The frame is metal on an XTC. I have one.

I agree in that my UL framed PMR feels slightly more comfortable in the hands than my XTC.

^^ The Rail is quite similar. If you prefer it for any reason, just get it instead.

The rail shoots better and feels pretty nice in the hands. I found mine was quite inefficient and had some leaking issues but when I got it to work properly it shot and played great. Extcy is probably a safer buy.
