Doesn't he just polish it? And that's it?? Why not break it in instead?

Sometimes I hate UPS.
Recently bought a pump. Guy shipped it ups Friday morning. I check tracking today and see it arrived at ups center that is 25 minutes from me.
They don't deliver on weekends and their office is closed. If t was USPS, it would have been delivered today :sigh:

but put yourself in his shoes.

usps tends to lose stuff more often and even if he did insure it, the headache of trying to fix the situation is still something anyone would try to avoid.

I always ship my markers via fedex or ups just because I've never had an issue with them failing to deliver my stuff.

I've never had an issue with USPS mail being misdirected or lost. I've sold a lot of items in the states as well as overseas. +100 ok PBn and +400 on fleabay.
One problem was the sellers fault for using thin cheap envelope for an ASA. It ripped and it fell.out during transit but I got the envelope :)

I prefer USPS and FedEx. They have been on time if not early on some packages. Ups has been timely for the most part, but have been delayed in a few occasions not including holidays or storms. That and delivery on Saturday is extra

What killed me was it is 25 minutes away and I could have easily picked it up. Office is closed on Saturdays. That and the coming storm. I may not get it till Wednesday :(

Not upset, just a little bummed I don't have a new toy to play with while stuck inside.

Just killing time in a current "state of emergency" and checked status on package.

Very pleasantly surprised that the status is "out for delivery"!!! Wow UPSPosted Image I never would have guessed.
Much kudos to you!

Now hopefully the guy won't just throw it out of the truck as he drives by Posted Image

I guess I spoke too soon. I was just hoping for the best.
There has been a handful of times it would say out for deliveryn only to say it was rescheduled: and that is one a sunny, calm day.
Why would I expect different with some rain and wind ealier today.
He's probably sitting in his local pub laughing it up before he drives the truck back to the processing center.

+100 for USPS, they came and delivered the mail Posted Image
