So she wants a mask, so she can play with me once and a while when I go out and play. She said she's fine with using whatever gun and such I give her, but the mask she want's to be hers. She already has a job, and gave me a 100 bucks because she trusts that I'll know exactly what to get. Sadly, her standards for a mask make it hard to pick one. She said she doesn't like the Flex 8, because the lenses are 'annoying', and the ear protection isn't well enough. The proflex she said felt unsafe, and she heard about the ear problems. Eflex is a no no, because that mask is my baby.
Here is what she wants:
Good protection: forehead, ear, the works.
Good breathability
I quote: 'sexy pillow like foam'
Easy to change lenses so she/I can clean them.
Must be nearly completely rigid: something like the Events she tried at the store(sadly the foam hurts)
High quality. No cheapo stuff here.
$100 or less is the budget. I'd be willing to pay for tax.

Here are masks Ive thought about:
Empire Events
vforce grill
Sly Profits (Seem to be the main one on my mind)
Proto Axis Pro
Proto FS Thermal
Save Phace: any of them
Empire Vidar

So wanna help?

The Profits are a frikin pillow on your face, my next bet would be the E-flexes.

I thought you were 12 dude.

And you should know that Save Phace masks are a POS and that every paintballer should know that.

I'm 16 in a few weeks.
I know that save phace's are crap, but I just figured: "Hey, protection..." and "Well X-Factor used them so..."
And I was thinking about the E-Flex's, but she hates the bottoms because I let her use my proflex's once and a paintball hit the bottom and smacked her jaw really hard. Plus, it's over 100.
So Sly is a nice contender then. I should really get to trying a Sly Profit again, I forgot how they felt.

The E-flex "slap" is almost non existent. I got shot there 2 times and I just ate paint. One ball bounced off.

As a female player I was not that picky, but go with the Sly. That list was funny to read, but the Sly has good ear protection, easy to breath and fits a lot of the face. It is easy to clean. Make sure that when she cleans she knows the keys to unlock the parts for the lens are on the strap and to not run the lens under water.

The mask also has two straps which was easier for me to keep on with a pony tail and everything. Plus, they have some pretty sick colors and go for $100. Check out Tri-CityExtreme.com because there should be free shipping with that price as well. Best of luck!

Grills feel really nice. my gf uses my I-3s and she loves it but the lens is a bitch to get out.

My sister is a huge fan of the Sly Profits. She also has a invert avatar that works great and has used my spare Events. But she tried the sky's on at Canadian carnage last year and bought them on the spot. She loves that mask.

Then again my girl friend prefers my E vents over all the others she tried on. But she has yet to try playing as it scares her. My sister is 23 and girl friend is 24. Sister is near 6 ft and girl friend is 5'6. My sister is an avid paintballer and is on the stronger side of the spectrum. While my girlfriend has only shot in the back yard and is much weaker.

First mask that comes to mind is the Profit, and I heard that the double strap on the Profits allows a ponytail to worn; with a single strap like on other masks it can sometimes get in the way.

So I think I'll go with the Sly Profits, probably in that neon pink that they have for under 100. I'll try them on tomorrow since there's a friend at the field who owns them, and make sure they are pillow-like, and then probably get them tomorrow.

E-Flexes (used) with boat bottoms. You'll never need another mask.

BUt with your budget, get Sly's and do an airflow mod on them, and eventually get a fan kit for it. Also a good choice.

My gf walked into a proshop to get CO2 with her dad (they brew) and walked out with a pair of dye i3s. Dye/proto and sly are great for smaller heads. Vforces don't really fit my gfs head, or girls with thinner faces in general, Had her tighten up my grillz all the way, on both straps, and it was still kind of loose. Vantage pros will work, but they are really just rental masks with nicer foam. If you can chip in 10 buck for a pair of i4s I bet she will love you
