Basically a rotor vs z2 thread I guess, except its hanging out not in the vs section.

Our team picked up an empire sponsorship for the season so trying to decide if its worth it for me to pick up a Z2... (not required under our sponsorship)

So for me

Rotor
Pros:
1. I already own it, and its speedfeed, so keeping it costs nothing
2. super durability and simplicity, takes no work to disassemble and reassemble.

Cons:
1. Limited paint capacity
2. For the last 3 years that ive owned it ive always found it to be a hideous loader...

Z2.
Pros
1. 240 round shell kit
2. looks nicer than the rotor does???

Cons
1. While I could sell the rotor I would still have to pay a bit more for the z2 yet
2. Would have to pay for a new speedfeed
3. Harder to dissasemble

So what would you do?

Both are decent loaders, the stock Z2 actually has a smaller capacity than a stock rotor by about 10-15 balls, and you can get a high capacity shell for the rotor as well so the capacity thing isnt really an issue for either. A con for the Z2 though is that the speedfeeds dont like to stay closed, so if you are diving a lot, you are going to lose paint. A con for the rotor is that it is quite a bit heavier.

Basically, both will feed 12.5-15bps just fine.
If you have the extra money and want a Z2 just because you think it looks better then go for it. If money is tight, keep the rotor.

When it comes to Super Loaders you really get just about the same from them all. Basically pick whichever one you like most, because they will all perform well for you. I'd say since you already have a Rotor just keep it

Z2 jams alot less with shitty paint. If you are using shitty paint, i recommend trading up. If not, the rotor is just as good.

It jams less, true. However, the rotor, at least for me, has never jammed and i have been shooting super dimpled oblonged paint. Maybe i am lucky for jams but I primarily like the rotor for the easy disassembly and durability.

Rotor has better battery life, and mine has never jammed. I got rid of my z2 because the speedfeed always popped open, and the auto unjam didn't work..

rotors are very inconsistent from piece to piece

Some rotors jam every 3 balls, some will never jam in its lifetime

If I was sponsored by empire, I would use them basically out of courtesy.

Based on you set of pros and cons go with the z2. It seems like you would be a lot more happy with that loader. Maintenance isn't difficult. Mainly it's preference.
