People not moving up, because they think they can snipe.

It makes me vulnerable because no one's there to cover my ass.
Give me gunz for my gunz.

Overpriced paint- I have no problem paying $60-70 for a case, but it better be something good and better be fresh. I wish fields would have paint like rps premium or marbs, but instead have lower end crap like valken graffiti, zing, or wrek elite.

Unmaintained fields/boring fields- I hate bunkers that are absolutely dripping in nasty paint fill. At least scrape off some of it after the day. I also hate fields that are just wood piles and spools placed everywhere. No originality is boring. I have yet to be to a local field of myn with bunkers that are cool like cars, tanks, etc. It would even be cool to get a bunch of broken ovens, washers, and driers and stack them up to make cover. You can get all that shit on craigslist for free too.

Long walks to fields, air, paint, staging area, etc. I dont like walking 300 yards to a field for a game, then back, especially in the summer.

:o

$75+ cases of paint, you guys make it sound like a crime

For my field its just the indoor turf is gross, but that mainly it. Some times its the players but I get over it after I shoot them IN THE FACE!

Shitty refs. I can deal with asshole players, long walks, boring field setups, etc so long as the ref staff is fair, honest, and enjoy what they do

Someone just needs to design a field where, at the end of the day, a button is push, water comes down as washes all the paint away, threw the turf (put basically a big funnel under the field).

Dirty fields are bad

Lazy refs, lazy owners, and lack of enthusiasm for each weekend. Unorganized times and inconsistant flow of new things and/or customers also play a big role in it. Douche players ruin the game though.

- when nobody shows up so you spend the day modifying the field because there is nothing else to do
- when you spend 4 hours at the field and play about 5 games total

BIGGEST THING TO HURT FEILDS IS NEW COMERS NOT COMING BACK

Some the reasons i think this happens is:

Dishonest players (wiping, higher velocities, ROF or cheater modes not allowed by feild )
Extream cost of paint (some feilds out here charge up to $150 a case)
Ramping against renters. I never agree with ramping but for walk ons its just not fair (for myself i go as far as i wont own a marker with ramping)
UNSAFE conditions wether that be feild in disrepair dirty or lack of standard rules enforcment
Uninvolved refs who not looking out for saftey as #1 and not inforcing rules #2 players should be HONEST and call them self out should not NEED a ref
Lack of respect to others OR EGOs(not the marker). Honestly we all at a feild to have FUN we all playing the same game. So go out have some fun. Play the game the way you wish (INSIDE THE RULES) and let others do the same Dont be ripping on some one else for not playing like you or how the SHOULD offer help to those interested in the help but do so with RESPECT. Too many players at the feild i see TALK DOWN to the newer players when they the ones that are NEEDED TO HELP THIS SPORT. Instead we should play long side them offer help and LEAD BY EXAMPLE. Leave the EGOS at home (the mental egos not the planet eclips marker).

Thankfully i very happy with the feilds i frequent FlagRaiders both indoor and outdoor. Though paints a bit pricy (ok ALOT pricy) i manage cause i shooting pump most times anyway and the paints of good quality. The feilds well taken care of and games are usually fair. The owner Joe Kimpson is very involved in the industry and treats players well. Feilds have a good staff and fair rules.

Expensive paint, shitty refs, poorly cared for field, badly lad out fields, Dipshits who overshoot and are the field sponsored team (I'm looking at you SOF from when you still let those guys play even after everyone complained),
poorly set up staging area (really did a paintball just hit me in the back of the head from the field), when the ref actually tells me he knows nothing about paintball and was just hired to say go (If you are ever in Hamilton, Ontario do not go to Camerons speedway and paintball)

I'll think of some more latter

I don't give a shit about the forums.

"The reason why i love paintball is simple when I'm on the paintball field and whooping ass anyone who said I can't do it, I'm to weak to do it, or that I suck at everything I do. Well when I'm on the paintball field all those people those who said, I couldn't well i can walk right up to them and say "Guess what mother fucker I DID IT!" and all those people i realize are the weak ones the one that can't do it."- AJ619

Muddy puddles everywhere, teams that are obviously unfair, and when the breaks in between games are extremely long

I can usually tolerate most fields. I do have pet peeves though. First of all, make your staging area somewhat appealing. Pavilions, shade, trash cans, and numerous tables, along with easy-to-access bathrooms make for a great staging area. I hate refs that won't tell you about the next matches, or ones that are just really shitty. I once wasn't allowed to play in the beginner group with my pump and a 50-round hopper, but the E-Grip X7 guy could. I hate fields that are just run-down and not taken care of. Reasonable prices are great. I wish FPO fields were like my BYOP field in the fact that my BYOP field sells about 5 different grades of paint, in addition to BYOP. I hate when the field owner is never there. I enjoy talking to him/her.

TL;DR:
- Keep your staging area well-kept.
- Don't hire shitty refs.
- Work on ways to keep costs down.
- Make sure the owner makes his/her presence known.

Grammar and spelling are your friends. But seriously, the second grade teacher Mrs. Green kept calling me about her missing student. She kept on saying that we kidnapped him, because she found someone who wrote exactly like him. Now I don't know about anyone else, but I really don't want us to be thought of as kidnappers of little 2nd grade boys. So I fixed it for you, but dear god Tina if you don't start fixing your spelling and grammar, we wouldn't mind just throw-ohing you in a little boys small shirt, some khaki shorts, and calling you whatever god forsaken name these parents of kidnapped children come up for their kids nowadays. Then we could throw you in Mrs. Green's class just so you can learn something- ANYTHING that would make you any less annoying to society. I mean MY god...

/scrubs-esque rant
