My Solution to Bots survey

On some other forum sites, they have everyone who registers for an account complete a 2-3 minute "Survey" of questions that basically determine if they are a bot or a real human. They could also have a basic 15 word limit.

The bots are getting through because they have humans behind them, so that kind of thing wouldn't work, because the human would fill it out and then let the bot get to work once they pass the survey.

I still think re-captcha is the answer, those things are hard for ME to answer sometimes, I cant imagine they have a limitless supply of bilingual Russians who wouldn't kill themselves after solving those things for 5 mins straight.

how about for the first 5 posts you have to put in that image to letters system to ensure its not a bot?
