NAY! I am severely disappointed with it so far. As much as the BL's guns are nice, the company itself needs to be taken out back and introduced to Mr. Crowbar.

Alrighty. I have shot and/or owned just about every bob long gun out there. Usually I get them used so I expect some wonky-ness out of them but otherwise they shoot great.

I had shot marqs before and they have an interesting design so I decided to buy one. I got it today and immediately noticed that the box seemed to be missing something.

In the box was the:
Gun
Barrel
Extra .688 back
Spare o-rings
and a manual for the board

Not in the box was:
Gun manual (srsly?)
Lube (Dow55 isn't the most common of lubes)
Pressure tester
Allen Keys

I know the lack of grease and tester seems nitpicky but if you ever call BL then you know why I would want one in the box. According to their CS department, you can't even start to tune/maintain/fix your closer unless you have dow55 to lube it with and a pressure tester. Considering how important these two things are, you'd think they'd be in the box. But no.
It's not a big deal to me but Joe Blow is going to have a hell of a time trying to maintain his new gun without grease, tester or even a manual. The Etek3 is $300 less and comes with a colour manual, oil and a full ball-end allen key set.

Next I took it home and shot it. Lulz did follow. Leaks out of the box. Right away there is a leak from the threads of the macro fitting. I know it's small but that's one of those things that is so incredibly easy to avoid by inspecting the guns as they go out. QC fail.

I took out the manual for the Ryujin board so I could set it up for 12.5 PSP. The manual I was given had the instructions for M7 software that could only be capped as low as 14.5bps. My first thought was that I dropped $750 on a gun that is totally fucking useless to me. Who the fuck knowingly sells their guns with outdated software that I can't even fucking use? I then remembered that Tadao updated the software a while back and since BL is so fucking horrible with their packaging, maybe the board is tournament legal and there is just nothing saying so. I set it up to the lowest cap possible to judge if it is slow enough.

I load my hopper with some paint, turn the gun on in PSP mode and get going. It starts shooting and at a relieving 10.5bps. I stop pulling the trigger but the gun doesn't stop shooting. It has trigger bounce stock from the factory. Good to know that BL techs like their guns to be cheating machineguns but, again, this is pretty useless. I look at the trigger while it shoots and its actually making full pulls from the kick. That's an epic amount of bounce.

I can easily fix every problem here and fully plan to use the gun. After the amount of problems I have had in the first day of owning a BRAND NEW closer, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone but an experienced baller who can fix all of these problems himself as easily as I can. Could you imagine a 15 year old kid going from a mini to closer? He'd be fucked.

LOL at the field, my teammate just grabbed some guys who I've talked to like 7 times, pointed at me and was like "what is this guys name?". They checked my jersey and said my last name. I was like "..." . Pisses me off how much I'm at the field for no one to know me.

Maybe by next year they'll know who I am and I'll become the super ref because reffing is sort of like playing.

You'll get recognized at the field when people notice you walk into games, and all of a sudden 4 people just get up and walk off covered in paint on the other side of the field over the course of 30 seconds to a minute...sorta like me.

I could do a triple backflip, shoot out all of vendetta, and then proceed to fuck Megan Fox in the middle of the field and walk off and people would still call me "That Guy".
