Just want to clear a few things up - straight from the horses mouth if you will.
1) The JRNY was not sold to ANS by Tippmann Sports, this was a completely separate transaction between NXe and ANS. Anything you hear or have heard to the contrary are completely false.
2) The warranty issue on these is not a performance related thing. It simply has to do with the fact that we did not have any parts, kits, etc. to supply ANS with. ANS has been transparent with their customers in noting this; as they have always, and will continue to reputably service the paintball community.
Obviously there is risk involved when purchasing a piece of equipment with no available warranty, but the reasons for this in this particular instance are not product performance related. Additionally, in developing the JRNY, the emphasis was on simplicity and very little being able to go wrong. Hopefully this eases some concerns.
Naturally, the braintrust's on here will develop their own conclusions, but at least you now have some information from the source.
So... if ya dont know, now ya know.
P.S. On a separate note, thank you all genuinely for your love, support and dedication over the years. We hope that you will continue to support the NXe brand even as it changes hands. Tippmann is truly the only company we considered selling NXe to, and we are confident in the fact that they will carry on the products proudly and efficiently.
