So now that paintball season is coming to an end, reball season is starting. I think it'd be a good idea to start a thread with nearby Reball fields. Please respond to add a field ( seeing as I only know one  )

Question about westmont, can you carry packs and ramp?

Also, how is the skill level?

I looked up the rules on their site and it seems they are semi only, they don't have a max bps listed, although I would assume its 12. The entry fee only covers 140 reballs per game, you have to pay extra if you want to carry more ($3 per pod) I have yet to play there so I'm not sure what the skill level is like, but you could always try to get some locals from here to come out and do a private game if you can get enough.

They have team practices after 8, and it's unlimited reballs for that. I plan on going soon and if I go, I'll tell you guys what I think.

Cool beans.

I looked it up on PBN, seems like it's growing. With LSD and Distortion there for team practices that's pretty good.

35 for indoor full PSP field with unlimited paint, not bad.

Advanced Play

Westmont Yard is now offering a place for advanced players to come and play. This is for players with their own equipment and experience playing paintball.

Format/Cost:
Pre-Register here
$30person
8:30pm-10:30pm Friday nights

From the website. It doesn't say you have to be part of a team so could I go even though i am not part of a team?? If you have your own equipment it should be fine right?

Let me know because if they will allow people to play in the advanced section then i will buy a loader for reballs. ( I only have a rotor as of now)

Hey all, seems to be some questions about westmont reball so i will try to clear some up becuase i went a week ago, here are my thoughts...

1.open play is from 5:30 to 8:30 and it is mostly rentals so i used a pump, still fun and i brought one extra pod with me and dident pay becuase i have a 50 rd hopper and the guy that runs it is SUPER chill.

2. advanced play $30 they changed it when i went there and i payed $30

3. if you bitch enough you can pay only for open session and stay for advanced.

4. adavanced is unlimited paint and anyone can go, i came without my team

5. they dont enforce chroning it is up to you to be honest and chrono, i got wacked a few times and it hurt more then normal

6. when the guy comes around with a roller picking up reballs turf gets caught and jams the hell out of your loader, rotor works good but had to clean mine every few games

7.you can ramp, everyone did during advanced

8. fuckbags go to advanced and cheat like hell so be prepared to get your nuts in a bunch

9. during advanced there were times where there were no reballs becuase people drain like 11 pods a game haha

10.use a shitty barrel becuase reballs leave smudges but its cleanable

11.poppets work best for reballs, spoolies are ok but jam often

12. all in all reball was fun when i went and i recommmend it

Whats the field setup? Is there a snake, doritoes, temples?

I run the Westmont Yard reball program and I got a little more info for you about Advanced Open play. Chrono is 240 and he is right, we are usually busy as hell running other things so we don't look over everyones shoulder when they chrono, though we do check people randomly. I've only had one person ask me to check someones gun because they thought he was hot, and he shot 238, 239. I haven't ever caught someone shooting hot. If I can, I'll try to do more spot checks.

Firing modes are semi and PSP 12, though if someone wanted to shoot something else and on one else had a major problem with it I wouldn't say anything about it. We're all big boys and girls at Advanced. Cheaters cheat no matter what they do, and reball is no different (though I find cheating in reball even more retarded than cheating in paintball). Sorry about that.

We literally pick up reballs all night, virtually without stop, so that games can run continuously, but we do occasionally lose a minute or three trying to pick up balls. We still churn games out at a pretty good rate, I think. I have limited games to 7v7 max to help us keep up (We can only pick up balls at a set rate of speed, so the difference between 7v7 and 10v10 is 6 guys shooting about 500 balls each. Game after game, that adds up. Plus it is really hard to pick up balls during 10v10 games). I asked one of the players at Advanced how many balls he shot that night. He check his shot counter and came up with something like 4500 balls. And yes, we pick up a shitload of little green lint. We blow the balls off and get most of the lint during open, but some guys don't want to wait. I wish it weren't that way, but it doesn't seem to really bother people.

Our bunker set is full PSP 2011. We don't have the elbows from 2012 and we won't have whatever PSP comes up with for 2013 either. Normally our field is full PSP length but about 30 feet narrower than full size, though occasionally we get to set up full width if no one is on the next field over.

We do our best to make Advanced Open legit, and a lot of it is on the players, so I am always glad when we get a high level of competition at Advanced. We have had a better turnout since changing the format from Team Practice to Advanced Open, because individuals and half-teams can show up and get time in, rather than having to have full lines show up. Its been good. Do a YouTube search for "Westmont Yard Reball" for some good, recent video footage.
