So were are going to an event this weekend at SC Village and its looking like rain. I have all new equipment, marker, hopper, etc. Is there anything I would need to do to my gun for water, or will it be fine? thanks

Hockey tape around your barrel's porting then attach electrical tape on top of the hockey tape.

Hockey tape does not leave residue and the electrical tape is waterproof.

Those teeny little holes in your barrel are called porting. It's best to keep them somewhat covered if you're in pouring rain for very long.

Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.

You can tape up disruptive barrels while still retaining the whisper quiet sound signature for rainy days.
