i heard their making (or made) an outdoor feild but its gonna be hard to play there in the winter sense we already have schools gettin days off from snow.

ok i was at the feild today (i didnt play cause im broke but plan to on wensday) the senerio feild is amazing it has multiple rooms, diffrent bunkers and some features they are still working on (the feild is carpet tho and only rubber cleets are allowed) it has the same speedball feild as the old feild

it is heated but it is still a lil cold if i had to guess it was about 3 degrees outside and maybe 50 inside but you really didnt notice to much, they are using fluid paint (sorry i didnt get the prices) but my overall opinion (remember i didnt play) was this feild would be nicer then the old one

the feild is located at 29350 northline road, romulus, Mi, 48174 it is 150 yards from middelbelt (if you are going south turn left if you are heading north turn right ) it is the first building on the left hand side of the road

yea i went to killer on sunday, it had two differnt feilds one was barrel grounds where bassically the old feild just a dif arrangement and one side is really stacked then the other, then there was speedball. i played both, about 2 games of each then switch feild and it was pretty fun. although there was only maybe 6 or 7 guys that wernt in the privet party and played in the session i still had a great time. some bad things about the feild is it's a really bad building, so there were many spots where the ceililng was dripping with water, and when u walk over those spots ud slip real easy so id suggest bring shoes that have traction. also, in airball the snake was usless do to deflation, and there were other small bunkers that were un-useable as well. the paint goes 35, 45, 50 i paid 60 total, 15 for the entry fee, 10 for all day air, then 35 for paint because feild paint only but whats good is if u dont finish all the paint u bought u can just bring that back and play with it. real friendly staff, everyone seemed to know eachother there and they actually had refs on the feild un-like futureball. thank you killer paintball lol! im def going back this weekend, hope to see u boys there.

I wrote a review of the field and thought I would also post it here.

This is the new Killer Paintball indoor field located near Metro Airport. The building looks like and old, run-down factory or shop. Walking in, the staging area is large, with lots of tables and lockers for you to use. It was snowing when I went, and almost everywhere I went (staging, fields, bathroom) there was water drippingfrom the ceiling. The place is pretty open, and there is only netting and a plastic tarp between the staging area and the barrel grounds field.

Field entry is reasonable, $15 for first session, $20 for both. Sessions on Sat. are 2 PM to 5 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM. They have 4 kinds of paint. I'm not sure of all the types, but the prices were $35, $40, $45, and $55. The $40 was Weapons Grade Paint. CO2 is $0.10 per ounce (not sure about compressed air,but they do have 4500 psi), and $10 all day air. Their rentals are 98 Customs with tank, goggles, hopper, and one air fill for $25. They have some snack foods and drinks, but I don't know what or how much.

This field chronos at 260 fps. The ref's were really good about wearing masks and barrel socks. They seem to understand the liability involved. They were also good on the fields dividing up teams, explaining the rules, watching hits, and helping to get shot players off the field. They do have a 10 foot rule on their barrel grounds field, but not speedball.

There are 2 fields currently, but it looks like there is room for more in some of the unused areas of the building. There is a speedball field and a barrel grounds field. I only played speedball once. The field seemed to be a decent size (I don't know how big a regulation field would be). The field was pretty poorly lit though, and it was hard to see down to the far end of the field with all the shadows. I watched a game later in the day, and they let quite a large number of people play. There were 4 people behind one bunker. That's just too many people on the field. The barrel grounds field was a good size for many people to play. Most games were about 15 on 15. We played single elimination, respawn, and capture the flag. There are many bunkers and they seem to be laid out well. The only problem I have with the field is a wall that runs along the middle of the field, parallel to the length of the field, and is about a third of the length of the field. This wall divides the field in half and causes every game to be won or lost in these narrow corridors. It was cool at first, but got old quickly. I would like to see the whole rest of the building be opened up for a massive barrel grounds field.

I have been to the new Killer multiple times now and i have enjoyed playing there every time. I was never at the old field so i cannot compare the two. But, I must say that they have been doing some work on the building they are in now to improve the experience. The speedball field was lacking to say the least when i first went there but now they are starting to add more bunkers, and rearrange the field to increase the level of game play. The Barrel Grounds is a great rec ball field and allows for begginers to get the excitement of playing without getting lit up point blank. They play many different games there (my favorite being sniper, when i get to be the sniper). Also, as of today May 3rd, 2009 it is BYOP all summer, entry is $15 ($12 on wednesdays), Free rental and entry for females on friday nights, and free rental on sundays. Paint prices start at $35 and go up to $55. I personally shoot their $45 dollar paint, which is JT Fluid hydro. All in all it is a great place to go with friends that do not own their own gear and just wanna try it. The staff is great and they do recognize you if you have gone there more than once. I know there are better looking places to play out there but its hard to find such a great staff.

Good place wednesday is for the better people noobs and kids who cant go on weekdays come fridays. overall good place nice owners and good refs. the only thing that i dont like is that it isnt BYOP anymore so you have 2 pay 42 dollars for their paint.

The barrel grounds are very large and fun to play on, and the speedball is set up nicely. My only issue with the fields is how slick it is. I have no idea if cleats will work on the floors because of how slick they are, the only thing I could think of that would work are track spikes but not sure.

Killer Paintball is a cool, yet humble, field. The Refs are on the ball (I've reffed there once). Everyone there I've met has been helpful and the owner even sold me a Halo for $20 when my Fasta broke. Only issue I had was how everything was covered in a thick layer of Paintball crust...I tried washing my stuff after the last time I played...most of it came off but the stickiness remains. If they didn't let the paint cake on all the bunkers, it would be great. I understand the financial limitations and whatnot, so I'm not hating.

7/10 - Cool field, great people, nasty bunkers.

the field is not run down. its a great place with good prices. my friend's dad owns killer paintball, and he tries to keep the budget in mind. even the staff at the romulus and south lyon store understand the game and how things should be run.

killer is disgusting the best indoor field i have been to is Warzone Paintgames in Ohio that place is worth the hour drive to play its clean they have a real psp field and they change the layout almost every weekend i will be going there this saturday. but when its nicer i will be going back to No Limits forsure for now ohio will due.
