Luxfer bottles and Fiber wrap bottles?? whats the difference

just wondering whats the difference between Luxfer bottles and Fiber wrap bottles??

if im not mistaken a fiber wrap is a metal cylinder wrapped in carbon fiber where as luxfer bottles are all carbon fiber

so a luxfer tank is going to be lighter than a carbon wrap? also, when its a 68/4500 tank, the 68, is that in cubic inches? thanks guys, keep doing what you're doing.

Luxfer is just the company name of the manufacturer. Their tanks are also aluminum wrapped in carbon fiber.

Oh and to the 2nd poster...you cannot make a tank with just carbon fiber. The pressure alone could never be contained with out some sort of metal shell. And really there mostly 2lbs and 11 onces at most.

luxfer is the brand of tank that is under-neath alot of Carbon Fiber-wrap HPA/LPA bottles

luxfer tanks tend to be lighter then other brand. at least in the us.

a tank with a luxfer bottle will not preform and different then any other tank just it will be lighter. This is if they have the same reg.

cp,drx,Ans,ga all you luxfer bottle i believe.
