How to smooth out the Phantom's pump stroke?

I have a used phantom set up for open class and the pump stroke is fine, but is there any other ways to make it better? I plan on keeping my phantom for a long time and figured if theres anything I can do to make it better, I may as well do it. So any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I got Stanchy on MCB to polish my internals and tri-flute my hammer. Its pump stroke seems a lot better now.
Keeping it clean and breaking the springs in helps out too.

If you triflute your hammer you will need a lighter valve spring in order use it with higher pressure and co2

even with stock springs, keeping the gun clean, and breaking the springs in is all you really need to do for a great pump stroke, it's snappy when broken in, but not too heavy
people's phantom's i've shot get binding in the spring, and are "sludged down" when they have not cleaned there gun, and when I take it apart I find the gun filty, after a good scrub down and oil, the gun pumps fine... people just don't take care of their stuff

Lube it, stroke it, clean it, lube it, stroke it, clean it.
Simple.
Simple.
