Get an Axe and trick it out with these (of your choice)

Board (Empire Shockwave is recommended)
Bolt (Lurker or Boss)
Feedneck (Empire)
Barrel (Lurker and Deadly winds are good ways to go, maybe the rumored Empire freak system)
Lurker poppet when it comes out
Critical Trigger

Depending on your barrel it will be $700 (Eigen Barrel) or $800 (Deadlywinds with Boremaster)

Barrels do nothing...

I'm pretty sure a dealywind fibur barrel would be lighter, quieter, and give you better bore/paintball control than a stock Axe barrel.

thats such a waste

Yah completely..... I'd much rather do it to an Etek Posted Image. But on a serious note, after having owned an Axe and shot an Etek, I would much rather have the Etek.

A new bolt would have a much greater affect on the Axe than an Etek. There's a reason Boss paintball makes 4 different bolts for the axe and zero for the Etek.

the barrels listed above are a smaller bore and have more porting, giving smaller sound signature and better efficiency.

I would suggest the empire axe pro edition or to buy something used like a geo 2.1, ego 11, g6r etc

I'm looking for poppets but I would love one that's smooth and quiet, for a poppet of course. I would look at spools but I think I need reliability on the level of an Ego due to my laziness.

Geo, just as "reliable" as an Ego but a spool.
