Do speedball guns perform well in the woods? Would an Etek 4 outperform an X7 in scenario?

Thanks,Stefan

Yes, the Etek will outperform the X7 in pretty much every way imaginable.

Any type of Speedball gun will outperform Woodsball guns. They are lighter, lower profile, more efficient, better shot quality, better ergonomics, pretty much nicer in every way imaginable.

I like milsim style guns in woodsball because It puts me in that scenario mindset. Sure ya could pull out and ego or whatever...its really what is gonna make your paintball outing fun.

Honestly you can use any gun for woodsball. Just same as you can use most any gun on speedball field. I have played scenarios using a E1 and I have played speedball shooting a Sheridan PGP. Done equally well both ways it's all bout fun. Shoot the marker YOU like and just have fun. Too much weight is put on markers and equipment. The absolute best upgrade you can have is time behind the trigger get out and play. Find a gun ya like and just play.
