Sorry if this is in the wrong forum guys.

I've been researching on a paintball gun to get. I was going to get a Proto SLG, but then I found that getting an old used paintball gun may be a wiser choice. I am aiming at around the $200-250 range (I still need an HPA tank and hopper, and sorta on a budget). I found a DM4 on ebay for $200, is that a good price? For the price range I'm set at, what gun would be best? How often is it to see these guns this cheap? Also, I'm slightly confused/ worried about buying used. I WILL be using ebay to purchasing my gun, but I have some questions about it. If the gun that I would be buying is really roughed up/ broken, is the seller allowed to sell it to me without mentioning it? Are the pictures put up always accurate?

Also, is there a buy/ sell section on tech pb? Because if there is, I'm having problems finding it.

Thanks for all your help in advance.

Also, what is the difference between the old PM's and DM's? The PM6 is about the same price ad the DM5, some including ul frame . What is the better?

If they basicly tell you something bad about the gun that they didnt put in when you bought it. Then you can sue their ass lol

Yeah, Ebay is set up that if something wasn't told to you beforehand, you can sure or press charges against them, and TechPB I guess will be coming up with a buy/sell/trade place soon.

buy whatever gun you like. all dm's are about the same. Same as pm's. Like you just need to get what gun fits what you like the best. Just use a bunch and then decide. We are all just telling you what we think is good for us. Timmys, dm's, and protos are all good guns. Stick with those guns. But just make sure the seller has good feedback and you should be set. Read abosolutly everything on the page where the gun is being sold!!!! Everything.

dm4's r great, i like them MUCH better than slg's, but it is your choice. Slg's have the better board though, i think.

Thanks for all of your input so far, I just have one more question. Before I considered an ion for a short amount of time, and what everyone says is that they have absolutely no resale value. Now, would buying an 'Up'd' Ion be a good idea? Would there really be any problems that they would have that a DM5 or timmy wouldn't? And please keep your answers as honest as possible, and no "Ions/ Smart Parts sucks" answers please. I'm asking about value, not comparing them to a Vice or anything.
