There's far too many back doors to get into college, it's easy as hell to get into college these days.

Get 60s? - apply for a general program/open studies, take a semester of electives and transfer your credits across. Is this not the point of community colleges (lol)?

Once you're in an institution, it's remarkably easy to get anywhere within it. Real university level degrees are somewhat more difficult, that's when they actually go through a screening process on grades, especially at a masters level or doctorate.

High school only teaches you what to think, real post secondary ( read tertiary) needs people who know HOW to think, and they are increasingly determined to separate those two factors for elite levels of education.

Take it from a person who's been there.

SO MANY FRESHMEN AT MY SCHOOL. All of them clog up the hallways and wear giant ass back packs with all of their books inside them. Then they all turn around and try to talk to their friends behind then while simultanously slamming anyone within a 4 foot radius with their potato sack back packs. I have to push like 20 snapback wearing swag losers to get to every class. Good thing I learnt how run block in football and I have mastered the martial art of " get the fuck outta my way!" on the Beijing transit system. :rolleyes:

I am a freshmen as well and totally agree that MOST freshmen are cocky. I have a few friends who are juniors and seniors that think I am awesome because i play paintball. I probably get along better with the juniors and seniors than i do with other kids in my grade.
