I got the flu and ever since 1 in the morning on Sunday, 1/27/2013, I've been barfing every hour until 4. The reason why it stopped was because I was sleeping sitting up.
I barfed out all the Pick-Up Stix, then rehydrated and went back to sleep. Hour later, water gun all over the toilet. Then, at 3:45 all this stomach acid flew out of my mouth. Holy shit was that gross. I finally got something to eat and just stayed awake until I fell asleep... And guess what? Barfed.

I almost died hyperventilating too... Shit sucked and I didn't even know I was hyperventilating, probably because of the lack of oxygen in my brain.
Fuck the flu.

And btw TL;DR.

Ok being less douchy now, take some dayquil, that really helped me. I had a 102 fever and my temperature went down 1 degree ever 2 hours.

Already had my Flu spell for the year, it was very very nasty. I don't get sick but man I got floored.

Im pretty sure you can't actually die of hyperventilation, you will just pass out and you start breathing again. However, if you choke on your own vomit while passed out, your fucked.

I know that feeling, puking like that sucks. But as long as you don't have it coming out of both ends you are gonna be alright. I was shitting and vomiting like a mofo, that is bad stuff....
