I learned how to drive stick on a Toyota Helix in Afghanistan, driving around base....definitely burnt that clutch out on the first truck xD.
If you are looking at trucks, look at 05 Tacoma's. Nice body style. big enough to haul, but still gets decent gas mileage (my buddy gets 20-23 out of his), and you can do a lot with em, customization wise if you are into car interior work. I am about to buy my buddies, brand new suspension, new head unit, all wired up for sound, custom seats etc., because he found a Denali he is going to buy, so I am gettin his Tacoma for a hair over 10 grand...

Irrelevant if you're on salary.
I would much rather buy a car within my own means.
