I have this old case:

And i'd like to make it a little more interesting. My first thoughts were polishing the aluminum, painting it up nice and awesome, or steampunk, but before starting anything, I'm curious to see what this forum can come up with.

So, what do?

EDIT: I also have about 3000 feet of fiber optic cable I'd like to get rid of...

Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

If you want to make a better case, buy a new one.

And if that's finished fiber optic cable, just mail it I me :D

I did actually miss the point, LOL. I'd paint it white, add a side panel window, make fan mounts, and have fun.

I like the side panels idea.
My uncle-in-law had one like it and had blue LED's glow when it was on. Looked badass but he built it out of spare parts so it was extremely slow.

Anyways either that or drill dozens upon dozens of holes in it.

I'm probably going steampunk, and cooling it with a pair of accordion bellows. Any suggestions for the front panel?

Yes steam punk would look boss. If you could somehow get a typewriter keyboard with a steampunk mouse = awesomesauce

Well accordion bellows turned out to be rather impractical. To noisy for the amount of air they move.

Now I have to figure out what to put in the window I made specifically to show them off. Posted Image

Nice, does the gauge do anything or is it just there?

Put a radiator with LED fans.

Is it spaced for a double or triple rad? (240 or 360?)
