So I recently got word that a couple of my friends were interested in playing paintball, I've finally convinced them to give speedball a try. Now over the last week or two I have been lurking craigslist to get a budget setup. Here's what I found, I'm glad I'm finally back to the field!

I got a few setups now, way more than needed. But now I can lend out some to my friends when we play and hook new people

I found:
A virtued ion with an evil pipe barrel kit and a banjo leak. cp on off, nice clamping feedneck, ect. Picked it up for $70
I managed to get 5 in hydro tanks, one carbon 68/3000 Crossfire ($50) , one carbon 68/4500 crossfire ($50), one 72/3000 pure energy steelie ($20) , and two empire 47/3000 steelies ($25 for the two)
a bone stock ion with a halo too ($50)
Then managed to score two azodin blitz markers, both LNIB and shot great ($150 for the two)
with the blitz markers I was also given an extreme rage overdrive and a few mech junk parts guns (that made one complete frankengun)
An old smart parts shocker 4x4 (needed a charger so i converted it to 9v for the time being) ($55)
dye i3 in black with mirror lense ($60)
I also used $40 in gas to travel around

Talk about budget setups, I'm currently running the stock (no longer stock) ion, i've put the cp on off, virtue board, halo b (i need a speed feed badly lol) evil pipe with paint matching back, the crossfire 68/4500, and the nice clamping feedneck.

I've shot a case with the setup so far, sadly in the woods though. I haven't been to the field yet with the setup, I'll let you guys know about it Sunday or Wednesday

Well,you don't have any guns over $10000,so you're obviously a noob :dodgy:

Overall, looks cool.Even cooler that it was less than $600 for 4-5 setups.

Craigslist can either be a waste of time, or a gold mine. :)

I picked up a Prostock, Pure Energy 68/3000 (out of hydro), and a Revy for $60.
Sold the tank for $40, the Revy is easily worth $20. Free Prostock :D

I just happened to dog far enough to find some gold, sold one blitz for $120 to a friend, keeping the other as a back up, the 4x4 I had to buy because its the first gun that got me on the speedball field. Nothing better than shooting an old gun and it actually working, besides obviously being huge and heavy it shoots ropes straight and the looks you get for using it are priceless
