So last weekend I went to this Linkin Park concert in the honda civic tour, since I was a little kid I've been a huge fan of them and I finally was going to see them. Incubus was finishing their set I move to the front of the crowd hoping to have a huge epic mosh pit. They open up the show with Faint a pushing pit starts and I jump in, they continue the beat with Given Up and it gets even crazier in the breakdown, they play Place For My Head third (my 2nd fav song <3) and the pit keeps going. After those 3 songs they played another upbeat song from the Meteora album and everyone gets lame and just stops thus the sad boring part in a concert. The rest of the show on every hard song I knew (almost all of them) I was pushing people around trying to open up a pit and they all got mad because they were couples and wanted to stare over the crowds head especially in One Step Closer I was going "ham" and in the breakdown they had fire go along with the beat which the heat felt amazing while in your own little mosh pit lol.

Anyways in case of TL;DR don't ever go to a concert with a girlfriend unless you sit in the back or are both willing to fall into a mosh pit. They perform and sound great but the crowd is almost as bad as a Pierce The Veil crowd (horrible band and crowd)

I expected this where even Mike Shinoda says to open a pit




I remember I bought this DVD the week it came out and it was my favoritest movie ever

There was one mosh pit I couldn't reach because it was far beehind me I was on the left side with a rail in front and to the right of me that's about where I was

Meh to linkin park for moshpits you need something really heavy to get people going i find

Something like FFDP or something else in that range
You want to some really good mosh pits, hardcore concerts the whole concert hall is a mosh pit

I was there last year same venue as well. My point is I expected a lot heavier of a crowd especially since they played almost every song from Hybrid Therory Meteora and Minutes To Midnight

Saw them as one of the openers for the Family Values tour when STP headlines it they are not a real moshing band.
If you want a pit go to Black Label Society with Mr Zakk Wylde. Not only some of the best guitar you will hear but he expects a part.

Lol this. Maybe Linkin Park 8 years ago... Now they play songs like New Divide and Leave out all the Rest and it makes me wanna punch people cuz it's so bad, not because it makes me wanna mosh.

If you want a good nonstop mosh pit, try Lamb of God, God Forbid, or Killswitch (with Jesse back!).

Why I said metal heads will understand I find it boring to stare over a bunch of people holding up their phone to try and see a band unless I'm against te rail. Besides it's not intentionally hitting anyone and it's fun when you join in.

honsestly, the biggest buzzkill is seeing a band in an arena. I mean come on, seats? how are you supposed to get up and move if there is super narrow rows and spilled soda everywhere.
