How am i supposed to make a purchase from someone? i have talked about a deal with someone and we have determined a price. I don't know how to go about buying it. Also, how do i know i won't get scammed. i don't want to pay and not get anything. people have told me to use the BST on here. but that doesn't help explain anything. I know what the BST forum is with all the topics but I'm confused. Thanks for the help.

Basically, PayPal is the easiest way to do it. While there will never truly be a 100% risk-free way to do it, PayPal is the best option. You'd get the PayPal email from the person you're sending the money to, then you'd send the money using the "goods" option. If you want to have the biggest safety net, always send it goods, never gift it. Once the other person has received the payment through PayPal, they'll then ship it to you, and that's pretty much the whole deal.

The 100% way is always purchase new from a known store.

But online, people pretty much use paypal.

Remember that with pp you have a limited time to dispute a transaction so never let excuses build up.

I think it's like 45 days but don't take any bullshit, just dispute it if you feel uncomfortable.
