Hey! I was wondering if the PE Etha would shoot Marballizers at 260-280 FPS? My marker chops around 1 of every 50 balls. Am I able to make it so it chops less?

the etha shouldnt have a problem shooting paint and are you sure they are chops and not barrel breaks? an easy way to tell is if there is paint on the bolt after it breaks or if the paint is only in the barrel?

if your marker is chopping 1 in every 50 balls your gun has a problem or the paint is from walmart... are you sure they are chops?

EDIT: should be ok shooting.

When I shoot, its normally in the barrel.

Are your detents ok? What paint are you shooting?

I replace my detents all the time. I shoot heat or some Empire custom blend, whatever my local field gots.

One, proper grammar helps. Two, barrel breaks are caused by low quality paint most of the time. Third and last, if your marker cannot fire between 260-280fps with any paint you have a problem.

Turn down your loader tension/speed. That can cause breaks. The etha should be able to shoot up to high end paints.

Sounds like a detent/loader issue. My gues is the balls are rolling down the barrel when you shoot. Inconsistent velocity should support that.

You may also want to give your barrel a good cleaning, then check for any defects inside the barrel.

From one Grammar Nazi to another, that really isn't necessary.

There isn't dirt in your barrel by any chance is there? I know a guy who had lots of barrel breaks and it's because there was literally a few specks of dirt that I guess just kept catching the paint and it would tear it open.
