1. GoG eXTCy for 250 (great starter gun, everything you will need).
2. GoG eNMEy for 130 (Great mech gun, good starter also).
3. If you wanted to go milsim considering you used to play airsoft, try the GoG G1 for 250.
4. Invert mini for 325 (shoots good, but horrible trigger and no on/off).
5. Used supergun ( I would go with this).
6. Save up more for something like an Axe. Takes longer, but is the best option.
Those are the best options in my opinion. I really like GoG products, and I have a mini and like it, but I would say your best option would be to save up a little more and get a used supergun. If you aren't comfortable with buying used, I posted many good new options above.

Most payments in the BST happen through PayPal, which is a safe and secure way to pay people. Always send money under "goods", so PayPal will be able to assist you in the rare event that you do get ripped off.
If you decide to buy new, my suggestion would be to go to ANSgear.com
Hope this helps.

Before you even consider buying stuff go play paintball a few times with rental equipment to see if paintball is really for you. Yeah, airsoft and paintball are similar but definetly not the same. You may not like the disorder of paintball while airsoft is usually organized in squads with objectives.
If you arent comfortable using a rental mask then maybe invest $50 into a nice mask.
AFTER you have determined paintball is for you, then the advice others are giving is good.

Excuse you.
Anyway....a good quality mask that provides coverage for your ears, forehead, chin, neck, etc, as well as good field of view, and no fogging, is by far more important than what gun to get. If you're on a cheap budget, an azodin kaos is pretty freaking cheap. The reason you see such a ridiculous array of replies to your question is that you're asking people to compare a 70 dollar mechanical gun, to a 330 dollar electronic marker. It'd be easier for people to give you advice if you gave an idea of what you want to play or do.
