there is basically no difference between the 2. In my opinion, the new freaks look best. and if you get the freak, it will be easier to move in the long run...

go for both, get a freak barrel kit, with preferably stainless inserts because they are honed a little bit better, even thought they weigh a little bit more, as well as cost a bit more too, then add an All-American tip, 14 inch is what i use, and works great for speedball and scenario.

My Setup:
ion, freak barrel, with All-American tip and stainless steel inserts,
red CP flame dropforward, red CP on/off asa,
CP regulator, red CP sling trigger, redz clamping feed neck.

well the oly way to get the all american nowadays is with the freak back im pretty sure, but id go with the aluminium inserts and back, they dont make much of a performance difference unless you are playing is REALLY hot or REALLY cold weather. it also depends on what youre shooting, if it kicks really badly, id get a heavier barrel, making it kick less.
working on a shego, need a star frame and board, i can trade a pm6.
also looking for pumps.

the All-American still comes as two peice, without having to get a freak back.
