So school is starting again, and of course my laptop completely took a crap and is now pretty much unusable for school. I am looking for a small, cheap, but dependable laptop to use to take notes in class and entertain myself between classes (facebook, youtube). I have a gaming rig in the works so i dont need any serious power, and I really dont want to spend more than 700 bucks, and I would LOVE something around 450-500 bucks. so far this is what has caught my eye.

Samsung Chromebook (the idea of chrome OS has really caught my interest)

What all are you looking in for a laptop? What do you want to be able to do with it? Just go on the internet and be able to write down notes and stuff with it?
