the barrel is junk. The guy I got it off of just threw it in the bottom of his bag and left it. Looks as if he shot rocks through it. I found that this is a 1 of 10-17 gun so I will have to get a new barrel and eye pipe and that's it.

Until we know for sure whether or not that UL has issues, I don't think any answer is right at this point. If the barrel does have legitimate issues, then the best advice that could be given would be to purchase a good cheap barrel, like the Lurker.
On the other hand, if the barrel has no problems and is totally fine, then the best advice that could be given would be to keep there barrel and not worry about purchasing a new one.
But since we don't know for sure the status of this barrel, I don't think we can guarantee that there is a wisest option for the OP.

No the barrel is no good. If I can I will take some pics for you guys. It literally looks like there were rocks inside the thing. I can feel and see deep scratches. I didn't go through it before I made this thread.
Sad because it is such an unique and pretty color.
My first stop is to see if I can find one of the other 16 barrels for sale, doubt it. I will end up with a Eigenbarrel.
I would like to ask Bazooka if it would be possible to match, I know it is a far reach. It would be worth it to me.
