With or without a remote line?
Without a remote line No just added weight and they make your marker bigger, heavier and more clumsy.
With a remote line yes an no. If it is more comfortable for you to shoot that way then by all means go for it. As for no in my experience although adding to the "realism" of a marker they do little if nothing at all to affect performance. But in the end its your call. If its comfortable for you and you dont mind spending the money than go for it.

Biggest problem I had using them with a remote line is the hassle of switching hands. There are stocks out there with the ability to hold a tank inside/through it.

The ones that come straight off the back of the gun are a bit awkward, if you think about where a tank butt is compared to the guns sight-line then its obviously quite a bit lower. Shooting over cover with a stock doesn't feel too great, if you're after one I'd look for one that goes down a bit.

For speedball
no
For woodsball
If you want it to look more real run a remote line or if you think it feels more comfortable then yes but get one that drops down so it doesnt get in the way of your mask

For speedball I'm totally against it even back bottle setups with butt stock plate on the tank. For woodsball its more acceptable but I still hate it

I know that tiberius sells stocks that fit 13 3000 tanks inside them. Its pretty sick and is good for scenario.
