Houston Paintball League New league in Houston

I was thinking about getting a team together and playing in one of the events. Me and "fatmule" are going to be looking for some possible teammates! We play at Legends Paintball.

If you play at legends you may be interested in a new league that Thao (The owner of Legends) is starting in July. It's going to be a state wide 3 man series called AXBL 3 man. It's a branch off of AXBL lite(the 5 man) It's sponsored by GI, Planet, and other major companies. The grand prize for winning the whole series is going to be a full gear package from GI and free entry to the whole season of axbl, with 25 cases per event. All for free. I'm not sure on the prices, but I'm thinking they're going to be around what hpl is charging for their event with limited prizes for winning.

Yes, I actually play for the team, Houston Legends. We're normally out there on sundays having practice. I'm usually out there on Saturdays working or playing pump in my Sponge Bob hat!

I'm not sure if I know you. I shoot a Check it mini sniper pump, and I used to have a Poison Geo 2, but now I have a DM11

As far as the AXBL 3 man league goes, it sounds promising.
I think both leagues will offer a great experience overall but am sure one will be more catering to the actual new players than the other.

@Sublime Are you coming out to play anytime soon? @John I think that the HPL is very promising for the brand new players, but I think Axbl 3 man will just be the next step into tournament paintball. When you release your dates I'l check my calendar, and I might come out to take some pictures. Good luck with HPL.
