Ion regulator

I can't really afford a cp regulator so I wanted to know if this would be fine

I've heard good things about the Azodin regulators.

They're also nearly twice as expensive

that regulator IS a cp regulator.
shocktech regulators are remilled CP regs.

That one looks fine, just wondering, is the only way to change the velocity on the ion is through the reg?
