Rules clarification. Really? No politics at all?

As a privately owned website I really do respect that you make the rules, but to expect us not to talk about the possible gun ban in the Gun Club is a bit crazy. If the goverment introduced a bill to ban paintball markers would we be allowed to talk politics then? I dont even want to get political in discussion, but just share concerns with other members. Also it would be nice to be able to post info on coming rallies in the thread. You have to understand this is a situation that could be a HUGE hit to our shooting sports.

Sorry for the rant. Just sayin.

Quite simply put ... Many are not mature enough to handle a political debate.

I have already pleaded our case to the powers at be, and explained at it wasn't a political debate but rather a way to share info, as not all of the gun club members follow firearms specific forums... They put the kabosh on it, so that's how it stands... Anything I see in the gun club that related to the AWB will be removed as per the admin ruling...

On another note, for those that do want a place to talk about it, fnforums.net has tons of info on the coming ban as well as other firearm related legislation... Don't want to see any of you get banned or warned, so try and keep the political talk out of the gun club... Thanks...
