when you get an axe, you're probably going to want to factor in the cost of a new bolt and barrel as thats become standard procedure for many axe owners.
the drone comes out of the box with very high quality parts, that would be considered upgrades on most other guns.(match stick barrel, gladiator regulator, macdev on.off, etc.)

The Axe really doesn't need a new barrel.... and the boss bolt ($40....) is the best bolt possibly out there...

i didn't say it needed a new barrel. just that most people get a new one.
lets face it... a 12" barrel is pretty much a throwaway barrel.

It is short, I like pointing my thing around. I don't know what I would do if mine was short.

no offense to sticktodrum, but thats the stupidest video i've ever seen. Obviously, the barrel is "usable". if you put it on a gun, paint will fly out of it. no shit.
the problem is that a 14" barrel has become the industry's most common and most preferred barrel length. Why include anything else?
the majority of players will get the barrel and immediately replace it with a 14" barrel that they are comfortable with. Could i go out there with a 12" barrel and get kills? yes. Will i be wishing i had a 14" barrel the entire time? you best your ass.
