Signature Issue

I've been trying to edit my signature and it keeps saying that it exceeds the limit, however, I am trying to make it SHORTER. (i.e. Remove that 'L').

That's happened to me too. What I've found, is that sometimes you'll have to delete your whole sig, save it blank, then start from scratch.
