I went onto criticalpaintball.com and I saw the Quest for $750, is this a reasonable price for the Quest? If not, where can I find one for cheaper. I'll probably be buying a new gun in about 6 months and I am interested in the Quest.

The $750 is for a brand new Raiders Quest. That's the private label version. They also sell the standard Quest for $499. I'm not sure if I'd pay the full price for it, although after owning mine for only two weeks, I'd probably pay that.

I really recommend checking the BST here, I think there is one still there. Other than that, keep your eyes on eBay when you're ready to buy. It took me several months to find one on there that I really liked. Often, you'll find one with useless "upgradezzzzz" on it, and it's mostly junk. Try to stick with the stock parts if you can, they'll treat you better.

So, eye the Craigslist, the eBay, and the BST. You'll probably snag one in between $200-300 depending on the condition.
Gerber, Surefire, TOPS, and Cold Steel all suck the big one. Buy quality products, not junk. :-)

Just get a used one. They are all over the place, but lately they have been getting harder to find. People are starting to hold on to them for some reason.

Another question, how well does it shoot. Is it a smooth shot?

Have you ever seen softened butter? It's kind of like that. If we meet up at NYC PB during the spring, I'll let you shoot it for a game.

You can check out Mikes video review as well. He compared a Shocker to a Quest.
