If your under 18 and pay for your own gear, nobody cares, so stop putting it in your sig.

They have 2 speedball fields, and one is turf. I haven't been there, but I think I'm going to go sometime soon. If you go, and I'm there, I'm the really short one, with another short kid lol. Also, I'll probably wear an OD jacket. If you see me, say something to me, I'm not a dick haha.

I've only played one woodsball field which was pretty good. If you are a walk on and you get a bad group the games can last forever because the fields are so contained in the back that if your playing with the kids that are afraid to get hit its easy for them to hide in there base and not get out the entire game just becuase the bases are so good. I went there the one day and we only got in 2 games between 9am to 2pm because the games would never end. Other than that I have no complaints whatsoever about the fields or the management. Everyone was really nice and helpfull. One other thing is GREAT PRICING! I know I pay a lot less at Carls than at Poco Loco which are my two closest fields.

Oh wow. Well, hopefully the group I play with aren't a bunch of pussies. I barely even feel paintballs because my adrenaline blocks it.

I know what you mean. When you get people who wimp out it ruins the sport. I remember the first time I played with my friends anyone who it was their first time playing had to get shot atleast once before they were allowed to play.

First time I played with my friends was speedball, and it was just us. I was the only one who would actually move up lol.

I know this thread is pretty dead, but what's going on with Capt'n Carl's? I heard they were moving to the field behind the Applebees in Aston but that's all I've got. I went back there but I didn't see anything going on but it would be an awesome place to set up shop. Tons of space, and easy parking as well.

Last time i looked up this field it seemed almost non-existent I called the number for the shop but never got an answer, or an answering machine for that matter. Perhaps they changed their number, i got it from pb review . I drove down there anyway cause it isn't any further from me than some of the other fields around but the place was not to be found. there is no sign or anything to point you in the right direction. and there was some major construction on the road that lead to where the shop should be and it was fenced off . I did find the wooded area where the woodsball fields would be at, but i only saw it from the road, and a fence prevented me from wandering back into the area to at least see some sort of field and confirming its existence.

I played here once, about 6 years ago, it was my first time, had no clue about anything paintball, went there with a group from college, had a decent time. I'll probably look it up again come spring, hopefully the construction will be all gone and someone will have put up a sign by then.
