Yea! And I want to try it out! I think all of michigan`s re-ball has been closed! I know that future was temporarily closed but not sure when they will be open again-I heard that future didn't get enough people that they closed it for winter months

i think there might be a reball field more upnorth, ill have to check though. the money saved playing reball is less than you save driving out there farther though.

Every place that I've played Reball at has been terrible. Reballs are a good concept but they're terrible to attempt to play with.

  • They jam your loader. I've used both a Rotor and Prophecy with Re-balls, both jam quite frequently. Strange enough, old loaders work well with Re-balls; ie. Halo's.
  • After being shot they collect dirt from the ground... which when reloaded into your hopper it introduces debris into your marker, causing more issues in the long run.
  • Reballs fly MUCH faster than paintballs so your gun has to be adjusted to around 150fps to accomodate a Reball to 300fps, some guns don't even dial that low.
  • One out of every fifty shots will land where you aim, the rest are just in the vacinity of the target. Since the Re-balls are constantly smashed it causes the ball to deform slightly. After the Re-balls are deformed they will slice and hook similar to a golf shot but about ten times more severe.
  • Reball resembles Airsoft and their "Honor System" rather than physical evidence that a player had been hit. With the crowd of paintball shifting more towards younger players, that lack honesty and respect, proving a player had been hit can be a nearly impossible task. It becomes a battle of "My word vs. yours"
  • Overshooting happens quite frequently at close range, since there are no marks visible to the shooting player to indicate the receiving player had been marked. Since the Re-balls shoot so poorly from the markers, it forces players to advance closer to their opponents. Close shots with Re-balls, as with normal paintballs, hurt when administered in high doses and without the visible mark, the overshooting commences.

They were a good idea, but totally worthless after playing with them a few times. We used to use a few pods worth to shoot in the basement at targets while practicing our snap shooting, which has been the only practical use I've been able to find for Reballs.
