Luxe if you want the nicest shot, Geo 3 if you need something low maintenance.

please tell me in what way they havent changed in ways that other guns have?
Dm9- improved internal milling making it smoother, quieter, and more efficient.
dm10- new feedneck and trigger design (admittedly still similar to the dm9, but keep in mind they released the NT this same year)
dm11- new frame, on off, and ergonomics
dm12- completely revised ergonomics, new bolt with tooless disassembly.
dm13- externally very similar but the gun gets 2+ more pods off a fill(hell, watch mikes dm12 and dm13 videos and see for yourself)
lets see...
geo 2 over the 1: new milling... revised the shit bolt design.
geo 2.1 over the 2: new reg swivel and on.off
geo 3 over the 2: same everything except with a solenoid restrictor(which the luxe has had since 2008)
luxe...
1.5 over the 1: screws in the eye covers
2 over the 1.5: new eye covers, sprung bolt, and new board.
as much shit as dye gets for "never changing their design!!! zomg!", people need to realize they aren't doing anything less than anyone else in the industry.
why would dye radically change a design that not only works really well, but out performs almost any other spool on the market across all categories.
and this is coming from a luxe owner.

For me its the size, weight, and lack of an OLED board while selling the marker at the same price. DMs aren't bad by any means (they shoot great) but why buy one for $1k+ when you can get nearly the same performance (IMO) for less than half that. The DM11 was the biggest change since the 8 in m eyes but those innovations are really due to the NT platform. I just question how theyre still selling DMs for that price without the features of many modern markers. The triggers are "meh" too.

Luxe is just a way overpriced shocker... for the cost of a luxe you could build two, maybe three, perfect shockers that would be more reliable than all of the new stuff... don't believe me price it out for yourself, all your paying for (basically) is a damn speaker and quick release bolt assembly... hell the luxe lowers can swap onto a shocker and vice versa
DM- Playdoh has it right... but it hasn't changed much because it works sooo well
Geo3 - Not as refined or smooth as the other twoand the solenoid restrictor is just a poor compensation for a not including an LPR... but will basically always work. one downside i've seen with all of the recent eclipse markers is that if you take a hard core sample with them they seem to bend like a pretzel...
IF i had the money though i would go with the Luxe because I'm familiar with the basic platform. I have shot a couple before and liked the way they shoot, just like a shocker

theres also the bob long victory Vcom, which swaps from a spool to a poppit and vice versa,
The Empire vanquish, which is basically the same internally as a shocker/luxe, but tears down with ONE size of allen key
and the macdev clone Gt which i don't know much about

I really like the Luxe trigger, but the DM isnt bad by any means. Honestly, whatever you go with I would recommend a Violent Products trigger for it, ESPECIALLY if you play on semi.

I would agree to some extent, but you can pick up a used 1.0 and throw in the new powercore for about $850 total now, even less probably. Value is relative, diminishing returns, etc.
